Paola is an investment consultant in the Atlanta office.
Paola J. Cardenales is a vice president in Callan’s Atlanta consulting office. Her responsibilities include supporting clients in the areas of performance evaluation, strategic planning and implementation, investment manager review, and the coordination of special client proposals and requests. She is a member of Callan’s Nonprofit Group, as well as the Defined Contribution Committee and Diversity, Equity & Belonging Council. In 2022, she was recognized as a “Rising Star” in the DCIIA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards.
Paola has been dedicated to various aspects of institutional investing for more than a decade. Prior to joining Callan in May 2021, she was a data operations manager for eVestment Private Markets, managed investment operations for one of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta long-term investment plans, and was a senior investment analyst for Willis Towers Watson. At eVestment and Willis Towers Watson, she co-led the Atlanta office’s diversity and inclusion efforts.
Paola earned an MBA from Emory University, Goizueta Business School, and a BS in international business management with a concentration in finance from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico, where she was awarded a full scholarship for academic achievement. She is a Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta mentor.
