Lauren heads research of global real estate securities, U.S. value add, and timber strategies.
Lauren Sertich, CAIA, is a senior vice president in Callan’s Real Assets Consulting group, leading the research of global real estate securities, U.S. value add, and timber strategies. She is responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and performance oversight of real assets portfolios, including the evaluation of managers and their respective real estate products for plan sponsor clients. This due diligence process includes meeting and coordinating with investment managers regarding various strategies, investment processes, track records, and organizational structures. Lauren is a shareholder of the firm.
Lauren joined Callan in 2008 as an analyst in the Client Report Services group, where she was responsible for calculating investment returns and generating monthly and quarterly performance reports. Prior to Callan, Lauren was an equity research assistant for the media and entertainment sector at Cowen and Company LLC.
Lauren received a BA in environmental studies at Dartmouth College, where she was a member of the field hockey team. She also earned the right to use the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the board of directors for Be Inclusive, Inc. in Massachusetts.
