Emily is the co-lead of Callan's Corporate Defined Benefit Focus Group.
Emily Hylton, CFA, CAIA, is a senior vice president in Callan’s Atlanta consulting office. Her responsibilities include client service, investment manager reviews, risk reviews and glidepath construction, investment policy construction, performance measurement, research and continuing education, and coordination of special client proposals and requests. She is co-lead of Callan’s Corporate Defined Benefit Focus Group and a member of Callan’s Defined Contribution Committee.
Emily brings nearly 20 years of institutional consulting and investment experience advising a wide range of large institutional plans. Prior to joining Callan in 2022, she was an associate partner at AON Investments USA. Prior, she worked at Towers Watson Investment Services (now WTW), Hewitt Investment Group (now part of AON), BNP Paribas Investment Partners, Cratos Capital Partners, and Wachovia Securities.
Emily earned her MBA in finance from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in analytical finance from Wake Forest University. She is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. Emily is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Atlanta.
